They would only bounce back in 1956 with their killer defensive line up that was aptly called the Fearsome Foursome. By the seventies, the Rams were becoming known as a Hollywood team, since many former players were turning to Hollywood in attempts to become actors. In the eighties, the team was shifted to the Anaheim Stadium and the Rams' performance began to slip. By the early nineties, it was clear that the team was on its way out and yet another move was on the cards.

In 1995, the Rams were moved to St. Louis and were greeted with heartening sales of St. Louis Rams tickets. It seemed that the Rams were still reeling from their poor performances in Los Angeles and it would take a while before they found their footing in St. Louis.
