Asian Football Central Begins Preparations for it's 2007 AFC Asian CupCoverage

Melbourne, Australia (PRWeb) March 28, 2007 -- Asian Football Central (http://asianfc.com) is proud to announce that it has opened up applications for journalists wishing to contribute articles for the upcoming 2007 AFC Asian Cup.

The 2007 AFC Asian Cup is the Asian Football Confederation's premier event and will be co-hosted by Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam from July 7th 2007 until July July 29th.

Whilst Asian Football Central will not be paying any of it's correspondents for their contributions, it will be providing a rare opportunity for budding sports journalists to develop their journalism skills.

David de Vries, founder of Asian Football Central, stated that "... this is a rare opportunity for upcoming journalists to cover one of the biggest tournaments in world football. Asia has developed into a significant football region with many Asian players performing well in major European leagues. With a massive population, it is only a matter of time before the rest of the world starts to take notice".

Asian Football Central is looking for correspondents in each of the 46 member nations of the Asian Football Confederation. Budding journalists wishing to cover the tournament should send their resume to news @ asianfc.com and all applications should include work history, country of residence as well as up to date contact information.
